Coffee campaign 2025/2026: The campaign kicks off in Baditoum

On January 16, 2026, Cameroon officially launched its 2025/2026 coffee season in Baditoum, located in the Doumaintang district of the Haut-Nyong division. The event was organized by the National Cocoa and Coffee Board (ONCC) and brought together key stakeholders from the coffee sector.
The ceremony was chaired by the Minister of Trade, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, alongside other government officials and local authorities. Traditional leaders and industry representatives were also in attendance.
Cameroonian coffee continues to improve in quality, meeting international standards and complying with the European Union’s deforestation regulation (EUDR). Arabica coffee exports increased by 64% during the previous season, with strong contract execution rates.
The 2024/2025 season recorded a production of 11,637 tons, with competitive prices benefiting producers. Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to promoting local processing, supported by the establishment of a modern Center of Excellence in Baditoum to enhance coffee quality.
